wpcoe
My doctor has had me on Sulfin for about six months. Are there any cheaper generic versions available in Thailand? Also, is Sulfin OTC ("over the counter") in the USA? I'm going to visit mid-April, and if it's not Rx only, I can check the price there, too. Sheryl
This drug is off-market in the US and not available there at all. Back when it was available, it was prescription only. Sulfin is the only brand of it available in Thailand. It is made in Thailand.
wpcoe
Just curious: Do you know why it's not available in the US? Was it banned, or just not enough interest/demand?
Sheryl
Nothing I have seen suggests an FDA ban and there was a brand on the market at one time. It may have been that the manufacturer did not have enough sales to warrant keeping it on the market. FDA licenses etc do not come cheap. But that is just a guess, I don't really know.
