The Board of Trade of Thailand (BOT) has sent a note to the US Chamber of Commerce voicing concern that the US-China tit-for-tat action may eventually harm Thai exports

Kalin Sarasin, chairman of the BOT, said although Thailand has not been affected yet by the US-China trade war, but the Thai private sector has voiced grave concern about the retaliatory action of the two countries, and would like the BOT to officially write to the American chamber for its help to Thai business operators who might be affected.

Mr Kalin said the BOT has told the American chamber that the ongoing retaliatory action would eventually harm Thailand and asked that it specially takes care of Thailand.

A good start would be to stop taxing imported goods from US UK and the EU at 300%

US Chamber of Commerce response to BOT:

We're waiting for Trump's tweet on the matter.

Meanwhile don't do anything "nasty" that might get Trump's attention.

Please America, help us to maintain ( or increase) our $20 billion trade surplus with you. It's only fair.

Before the UK/EU starts doing the same to Thai goods..

Specially take care?  Is that straight out of the bar girl handbook!?

Stop drawing attention to yourselves might be good advise!
