Premchai should face three more charges

Deputy national police chief Pol General Srivara Rangsibhramanakul handed over dissenting views to the office of the Attorney General on Tuesday on why police believe Premchai Karnasuta, president of Italian-Thai Development firm should face three more charges.

 

The Regional public prosecutors office on April 4 resolved that it would charge Premchai, the president of Italian-Thai Development firm, with six offences relating to his alleged poaching in Thung Yai Naresuan wildlife sanctuary in Kanchanaburi province in February.

 

However, it dropped five other charges proposed by police.

 

By law, police can submit dissenting opinions to the Office of the AttorneyGeneral for a final decision in cases where they disagree with public prosecutors.

 

Srivara, as chief investigator, said that Premchai should be charged with three of the five charges that were dropped; colluding to enter a wildlife sanctuary without permission, having in his possession hunting equipment and attempting to hunt wildlife animals in a wildlife sanctuary without a permit.

 

Three other suspects who were arrested at Premchai’s campsite should also be tried on the three charges, police said.

Not often I agree with the police.....

But of course Khun Fatso should be prosecuted for all charges against him......

 

The prosecutors have probably received a small donation to overlook the minor charges....

No doubt, he will be prosecuted, but what will the sentence be and how much of that will he serve? People have short memories, and after a few months in a nice comfortable bungalow, all will be forgotten. Watch will happen to another big name, amazing if he spends one day in the pokky, and thats after its made comfortable enough for he to catch a couple winks.  

Start with one an endangered black leopard full of holes in a protected park if that fails taking a dump in a protected park if that fails take the money.
