I am negotiating a lease agreement this week and am curious how the new law affects existing contracts. I was told there was 2 months deposit required but the furniture is neither new nor very nice and will require quite a bit of cleaning to be liveable. I like the space though. Will existing contracts require rewriting to incorporate the new law?

In a nutshell, 1 month maximum deposit, market rates for power and water.

There's another thread on the same subject here
