Schools teaching english / after school clubs in Roi Et

Featured Replies

Hi, any recommended school in Roi Et that teach English?  Silver Fern is too expensive and we are looking into The Holy Infant Jesus Roi Et school (after seeing this in a closed thai visa thread from 2009), but just wondering if there are any other recommendations?    If not, any weekend/after-school clubs that teach English?

A bit more background to help, kids have lived in Bangkok and now moved to Roi Et for term time.  One 5year old, one 10year old.  I've been teaching them English and they can understand a fair bit and speak basics too. Younger one knows phonics, older one can read basic words.   Hoping to find somewhere in Roi Et to keep their English going, then outside of term time I'll continue to teach them in Bangkok.

Thanks in advance.

Next to Roi Et Wittayalai School, on the other side of the canal, is a young learners' school.

Not sure if it's government or private.

They have several foreign teachers there but not sure how many NES.

I haven't heard any bad things about the place so might be worth a look.

The new term is due to start soon.

Thanks for reply marty. I'll check it out!

For others who might read this, The Holy Infant Jesus Roi Et school is 12,000bht per term per kid.  Kids have to take a test before joining.
