Pattaya "Beer Promotion Girl" goes on Facebook to issue rape warning - but netizens are skeptical

 

 

A 22 year old woman who works as a beer promotion girl in a North Pattaya restaurant went on Facebook to claim that she was nearly raped by a motorcycle taxi guy.

 

"Cartoon" admitted she was drunk after a Songkran celebration and fell asleep on the back of a bike she hailed to take her home to Khao Talo 10. The next thing she knew, she claimed, she was in a deserted soi with vegetation growing all around and the motorcycle taxi rider was with her suggesting sex.

 

In her Facebook post on the site of "Toondee Cartoon" she claimed she got away by getting in a passing pick-up.

 

However, later when she spoke to "We Love Pattaya" reporters she had a somewhat different version of events.

 

She said that she was asked for sex by the rider after he stopped to urinate. But after she insisted that he took her home he complied and drove her to Khao Talo 10..

 

She then gave him her phone number and he called her up to make more lewd suggestions, she said.

 

She said that she already has a boyfriend who would have normally picked her up from the restaurant but he was busy and she was off work on Wednesday when it happened so she hailed a motorcycle.

 

She has made a report to Bang Lamung police you are taking it seriously and say they should soon have the suspect in custody.

 

But people online pointed out the discrepancies in the alleged victim's story amid suggestions that she has made false claims to discredit the motorcycle rank for some unknown reason.

Looks more like she was disappointed because it was only " nearly".

A check of phone records will show which version is more likely.

I heard several times from female friends that they are scared of taking motorcycle taxis at night because of this reason.

I feel trepidation  as well about motorbike drivers but for different reasons.   

 

There should be more good looking female drivers to assuage my fears.

 

 

They're learning from the feminists of the West, it seems. Asking if someone wants to have sex is now "almost rape".

Funny how many girls will only ride with the female motorbike taxis.

But I was not ask for sex (by my female driver, aka my gf).

Asked for sex but says no, 

Takes her home instead, she falls asleep on the back of a motorbike.

She gives him her telephone number (and effectively says, feel free to call me and ask again)!

She files police report.

 

Nothing wrong with that picture, perfectly normal behaviour!
