The Cadillac Lyric is good....for a Cadillac. The good old American technology is, erm, 50% LG, they provide the cell technology and manufacturing expertise. And it still far behind China's technology. A generation behind at least. Outdated NMC battery rather than LFP. 400V architecture rather than 800V. Much slower charging. Much heavier (without putting an American fatty in there). And old fashion modular cell construction rather than cell-to-body. It's basically a decent car but nowhere near on a technological par with the Chinese models. Not in terms of battery, construction, design, architecture. Oh, and NMC batteries are prone to catching fire. But you keep thumping your chest you gold old poor misguided patriot you.
