Tv Series - The Last Panthers

A really promising start to this new 6 part UK/France series.

IMDB:Independent claims specialist Naomi (Samantha Morton) is given the job by her boss, Tom (John Hurt),
of recovering stolen diamonds... no matter what it takes. Also on the trail of the diamonds, from a different direction,
is police officer Khalil (Tahar Rahim). The investigation takes them across Europe and into a world where shadowy figures control events.

Found a great Palestinian Film "Borrowed Identity" on Genesis.great english subs embedded too.

Story of a sensitive non violent and intelligent arab kid growing up in Israel.beautifully observed and a nice surprise ending.

PS. When you search on genesis the cover will say Mon Fils which I guess is the name it released under in francehow bizarre. The original title is far more appropriate.

guys guys guys,i keep on about it but this is a truly great site it had about a 100 different links for this film,,

http://www.alluc.ee/

oh excellent film by the way

When Genesis works I can see that Alluc is one of the scrapers it employs….is there an android or kodi app for alluc or must one just access it from a browser?

Does it have lots of popups?

Cheers

Alluc is a search engine that scans the normal Kodi channels/collections.

Lots of pop-ups if you chose the wrong provider but I tend to limit the search to my favorite Kodi channels (e.g. thevideo.me) which limits it to a non-pop up advert that you simply close whilst the page is loading.

Yeah pop ups are a pain, But if that's the way they pay for the web site ie keep it free as opposed to subscription I sort of think that's fair enough and I put up with clicking on 3 or 4 X's. I livid is the only real issue to avoid.

Promising indeed. And very French. And rather violent. These Serbs mean business. Hope the police do, too.

I like it!

Yes, saw the trailer at the time and did not find it convincing nor entertaining. BTW it's "High Castle" but who cares smile.png

New show: Into the Badlands. Martial Arts in an absurd fantasy setting. The first minutes showed a lot of fighting "one against many" with the superior "one" winning, of course. Than I gave up. For those who like KungFu etc. it might be worth watching. But I need Jackie Chan, otherwise I doze off...

A couple of guys mentioned alluc.. which has most of the episodes. Not sure if they all have hardcoded subs. Ther series started earlier in france... the UK episodes are just starting.

Sadly no subs….good subs are a must since it features not just french but serbian as well.

Please Like Me. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2155025/

A quirky 6 episode Australian made and based comedy with Josh Thomas writing and starring. This one has some genuinely original and hilarious humour using Thomas's unique view of the world. IMO season 2 can only get better as it finds its slot and rhythm.

Please Like Me is back for season 2! Looks like a 10 episode second season for this Australian Comedy starring Josh Thomas.

Episode 1 is okay, hopefully builds up like it last season.

There is a Thai connection with Josh Thomas's dad having married a much younger Thai woman.

Sadly, for me, Caitlin Stasey is not in the show this season.

https://www.google.com.au/search?q=caitlin+stasey&espv=2&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=ahTrU4L1N-fJigLljIGIDw&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ&biw=804&bih=934

Please Like Me Season 3 is now up to Episode 5. This is a 10 episode season

My fave girl Caitlin Stasey is also back!

Josh Thomas continues to push the boundaries and deliver some of the most original and refreshing comedy/drama i have watched. I compare this on some levels with Curb Your Enthusiasm for originality

Background

Please Like Me is written by Josh Thomas, who also plays the main character Josh. It is produced by Todd Abbott and all episodes were directed by Matthew Saville. Thomas and Abott developed the series together for four years. They held a series of consultation meetings with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Abbott was careful to pitch the series as a drama rather than a sitcom. It portrays a set of circumstances that could happen to a young person but has humorous themes.Thomas envisioned an original show, something he had not seen on television before. The actor, also a known comedian in Australia, wanted honesty in the script and wrote the comedy as so. He also wanted the actors to not intentionally react to the scripted jokes.

For the cricket fans on here, just watched a great documentary called Death of a Gentleman.

A real eye opener. Lovers of test cricket should be concerned.

IMDB: Two cricket journalists set off on a journey to the heart of the game they love, only to stumble upon

one of the biggest sporting scandals ever. This is a film about passion, greed, power - and standing up for what you care about.

Looks great…thanks.

Movie - Suburra

This one is from the director of the Gomorrah series, which I thought was sensational.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2049116/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Netflix have commissioned a 10 part series of the same name for next year.

I really enjoyed this one.

IMDB: A gangster known as "Samurai" wants to turn the waterfront of Rome into a new Las Vegas.

All the local mob bosses have agreed to work for this common goal. But peace is not to last long.

Couldn't find a clip on youtube with English subs but there is one here:

Whoever suggested the Aussie TV show "Please Like Me", thanks for nothing. You might have mentioned that the show is aimed at teenage homosexuals.

At least you didn't download the whole 3 series (I hope) like you did with Dagtongue.png

I did download about 20 episodes, but gave up after watching three. Only so much guy kissing guy I can take, and I'm not homophobic.

Why you would download that many episodes is beyond me.

Surely it's better to just download 1 or 2 episodes first.
