International health insurance payment

Featured Replies

Which international health insurances paying directly to hospitals? For example if I have a car accident , fall from the roof of my house,or get heart attack I don't want to deal with any bills.I want the insurance is dealing with that from the moment I was admitted to the hospital[show my insurance card and done].

It is never quite that simple, you do need to get pre-authorization before going into the hospital unless it is an absolute emergency in which case notify as soon afterwards as possible. If not an emergency and you did nto get pre-authorization, they might nto pay.

But yes, you can certainly get insurance that directly pays the hospital rarher thna having to pay first and get reimbursed.

The following all have direct billing arrangements with Thai hospitals but this is not an exhaustive list, it is limited to companies that will newly insure someone over the age of 60. If you are younger than that then there will be others as well:

AXA PPP

Cigna Global

AXA Now Health

Globality Health

A+ Asia

ALC

Aetna

I think also HCI
