If you wife has a house book for the house that would be enough to prove your address.

We do not have anything at the moment as we are waiting on the bank which should be in the next week. after everything is approved, how long does it normally take for the wife to get the blue house book with her name in it

A soon as she is the legal owner she can go through the process of getting the new house book and be registered in it. It should not take much more than a day in total to get it,
