longball53098
Hey Guys, Yesterday we got in to a discussion about what types of accounts can be used for the annual retirement extension. One person asked the group if a USD FCD account could be used. So I pass this out to all here. My guess is: as long as the account has the required equivalent amount of 800k or higher for the 90 days it should be ok to use that account if the account is a personal account and not joint account. ubonjoe
Most immigration offices will accept a foreign currency account. Same requirement for it to be in the bank for 3 months on the date of application.

Tanoshi
Providing the cash is available to withdraw immediately (no notice period) then accounts such as Savings, Fixed Term and FCD should be acceptable to Immigration.
