Former deputy commerce minister Banyin Tangpakorn will be indicted on charges of colluding in the premeditated killing of billionaire Chuwong in an apparent 2015 car accident, deputy commander of the Crime Suppression Division (CSD) Pol Col Chakrit Sawasdee revealed on Friday.

Southern Bangkok prosecutors have instructed the CSD to deliver Banyin to hear the indictment decision by June 15, he said.

Banyin has been told to report to the authorities on June 8, he added.

Construction tycoon Chuwong, 50, was found dead in the front passenger seat of a car driven by uninjured Banyin that hit a tree beside a road in Prawet district of Bangkok on June 26, 2015. Chuwong’s relatives’ complained that the death was suspicious, given that shares worth Bt260 million had been transferred to two women just days before his death.

The day before sentencing, of course. That was an easy classic riddle.

+Banyin has been told to report to authorities on june 8.

On june 7, bye bye hes gone.

Why not just arrest him?

Because they want him to disappear.

Mean while on planet earth these type of murders are considered the worst,  he would be in shakels with no hope of bail.

So he's got six days to find a female disciple?

Yep, "On the road again, can't wait to get back on the road again.....", so the song goes!

He was a police Lt Col before becoming Deputy Commerce Minister, his background obviously qualified him for both a cabinet position and murder.

Fore.

Banyin was just "playing through".

His first wife died under eerily similar circumstances ages ago.

Always the smug face.

This guy is as scaly as they come, I read earlier he's a very wealthy man, he can easily arrange for a private jet just across the cambodian border and he's an ex cop, he knows which cops will help him get to and cross the border for a nice fee.

About the 'smug face', you're totally right and it's a recurring feature in cases like this one.

To us Westerners it's exasperating, but I'm pretty sure that most Asians (if not all) see it differently. It is actually part of the 'face saving' mechanism, and Asians would read it as a clear indication that the guy is indeed losing face. Big time.

He will never see the light of the prison. This case is going to be forgotten soon.............

In a book titled ‘How to become filthy rich and untouchable’ the chapter 'Expressway On The Career ladder', would recommend: get a job in the police or military, and switch to politics.

Banyin Tangpakorn should be handcuffed already!

The signature to transfer the money was forged.

The 2 women to whom the money was sent shortly before the billionaire's death were Banyin Tangpakorn assistants.

The injuries of the deceased did not correspond to the accident, among others some vertebrae broken abnormally and also abnormal eye bleeding. ..

...But Banyin has been told to report to the authorities on June 8....unbelievable!

They are thinking about the future of our environment and the preservation of nature for future generations.
Less paper work mean more trees. :cheesy:

Sssshhhhh don’t tell anyone but when he comes in on the 8th we are going to arrest him. Ssshhh , it is a secret, don’t tell anyone.

shakels or shekels (or maybe shackles)? A billionaire would have the equivalent of plenty of 'shekels'. ?

Yup, everyone is told 'in confidence'.

To be correct it is, shackles

And in Thailand plenty of shekels keeps you out of shackles.

Notice how it is always an ex minister, who gets charged? Not that this will ever go anywhere. But, people who are currently in positions of power are always above the law. And and all laws.

I wonder if this is not at least part of the reason they are so desperately clinging to power. Ex politicians are subject to some scrutiny. Not much. But, at least some. These creeps who are currently in power have alot to answer for. We can only dream that one day some of them, will be charged. Personally, I would love to see them start with Little P. and Prawit.

If he's on the wrong side of the junta, he will lose more than face.

And Mr 200kph Mercedes' appeal for killing to students who got in his way was postponed for 7 months while he's out on bail.

Rich person's law in Thailand. Brown paper bags already handed over.
