Manager reported that toll fees on the southern section of Kanchanaphisek Road were to rise sharply by between 15 and 35 baht from July 1st.

A previously free section is now subject to charge meaning that more money will be collected.

For example the journey from Bang Khun Thian (Rama 2) to Bang Plee will rise by 15 baht for four wheel vehicles, 25 baht for 6-10 wheels and 35 baht for larger vehicles.

Motorists thus joining the ring road at Bang Kaew on Bang Na - Trat can expect to pay 115 baht for the journey from Chonburi to Rama 2 in the future.

Maybe because some people from Pattaya do venture out occasionally, wouldnt want them to turn up short of change!!

Fair enough, just thought it more applicable in Thailand news.
