I have the Siam commercial Smart card(MasterCard) I have to renew my British passport in the near future, can this card be used in the UK by the passport office, I've used the card in Malaysia so I'm guessing it will be okay, could not make the bank teller understand what I was asking and wanting to do.

You can pay with a credit or debit card, you'll be charged in Stirling.

I've heard that some people had problems using a Thai debit card, but not credit cards, I don't know that for sure.

One thing I did manage to understand was that the card can be used in UK ATM's so I would think it will be okay but like you I'm not sure.
