Kevin Spacey, the comeback: new film given August release date

A new release date has been set for Billionaire Boys Club, Kevin Spacey's first film to hit cinemas since the actor was accused of committing sexual assault.

 

Based on a real-life 1987 murder case, the film is set for release on online streaming platforms from July 17, and will have a limited cinema release from August 17.

 

Since November, more than 30 men have said they were victims of unwanted sexual advances by Spacey. The first to step forward was Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rapp, who claimed Spacey attempted to "seduce" him at a party in the Eighties, when Rapp was 14 years old.

Kevin Spacey is a very talented actor - probably one of the world's best - and I think it is a great shame that he has been treated in this way when many other people in the public eye have done far worse (Trump, anyone?).

Personally, I dont give a flying f#@! who Spacey tried to seduce at some party. I'm more concerned as to why a 14-year-old was at the party in the first place. So let's vilify the B-grade idiots who allowed that.

I bet Kevin wasn't the only one putting moves on that 14 year old; others just didn't end up big name actors. At this day and age I don't think it important that some young gay stud was hit on by anyone at a Hollywood party. It happens even in cities east of Hollywood. Kevin Spacey was using 'coin of the realm' to get laid, happens everywhere all the time. The kid should not have been at the party.

I really, really, REALLY will miss House of Cards. All the #MeToo generation who don't have real issues (like nukes & whales) so they force this PC crap on the rest of us for acceptance.

 

Who Spacey screws, or tries to, has NO bearing on his wonderful, sensitive acting.

I amazed at how many will defend a pedophile just because he is an actor, this is why they get away with it for so long.
