Bus or minivan to Ban Laem??

Featured Replies

I need to go to Ban Laem for a visa run. I want to do it solo this time (no visa run company). Does anyone know where I can catch a bus to Ban Laem? I was searching the forum and someone mentioned there is no bus to Ban Laem. I would have to go to Chanthaburi and catch a mini van from there.

Where are you? Bangkok?

It depends upon where you are starting your trip from.

Yes Bangkok, sorry about that.

Soi Dao Tour do this run from Victory Monument. May only do a few runs a day. It won't be their most popular route.

Hey I was reading your post from 2014 and I think I better go to Ban Pakard instead. How did you get there from BKK? Was there a bus that goes straight there or you have to switch transportation in Chantaburi?

Not sure I remember my post from 2014! But I'm sure it was great!

Anyway, as you can see from my location, I live in Sri Racha in Chonburi. I have been to Ban Pakkard several times, either with the visa run van or on my own motorbike. I haven't been on public transport. So as you are in Bangkok and don't have your own transport, I don't think my travel methods will help you with this one.
