Thailand, 2nd July 2018 (NNT) – Prayers for the rescue of the boys football team lost in Luang cave in Chiang Rai province and for the safety of their rescuers continue across the country.

Meanwhile, Royal Thai Air Force Wing 23 of Udon Thani has created a video clip to express support for the Moo Pa Academy youth football team. The clip has been posted online for public viewing.

Elsewhere, the Khon Kaen University Bicycle Riders Network assembled themselves into the number 13 on Khon Kaen University grounds and snapped a photo to express their support. They also wrote messages of care and concern on a vinyl tarp to be presented to the young footballers on recovery.

At Surakul Field in Phuket’s Muang district, a gathering of over 1,800 residents and scouts both boys and girls, gathered to express their encouragement to those searching for the 12 lads and their 25 year old coach, believed marooned in Luang cave. The gathering called for the young football players to return safely to their families and voiced appreciation of the efforts of rescue workers.

Thailand Post Co Ltd is to help channel messages of care from across the country to the team and has invited the public to send postcards and letters with the hashtags #TeamMooPa #TheStrangersIwanttoseethemost and #LuangCave. The company has opened a PO Box free of charge and does not require stamps for letters sent to Team Moo Pa 13 Chiang Rai 57130. The messages are to be collected for presentation to the team once they emerge from their ordeal.
