Tourist visa from Sydney

Featured Replies

Have been coming to Thailand from Sydney for over eight years on single entry tourist visas with no return ticket but I see the rules have now changed.

They now require a return ticket and proof of booked accommodation in Thailand.

As I never know where I'm going or for how long, how can I book accommodation or buy a return ticket?

Has anyone from Sydney had the same problem and are they enforcing these new rules when you apply for a SETV in Sydney?

As far as I know they are enforcing the requirements.

It does not have to a return ticket. You can buy a low cost one way ticket to any nearby country to meet the requirement.

You could make a reservation for a room and cancel it after getting the visa.
