February 5, 200719 yr Can anyone tell if the 400,000B to be shown in Singapore has to be in an account in my name, or can it be in my wifes for the multi entry O visa. Is it possible to get a multi entry from anywhere else in SE Asia? How about KL or Panang? Also how long does it take to process the visa in Singapore? I've got to do my visa in 3 weeks. Any info would be a great help.
February 5, 200719 yr Singapore seems to answer email questions so would advise you to ask directly as expect those that have used the system have done so with accounts in there name. This is not a formal requirement but up to whatever the Embassy says. Believe KL may issue but have not seen any report recently or reports that they have started issue in Penang again.

I know this is the case for Business Visa's - so its the case with Non-Imm "O" as well? We have emailed them but with no response to ask about multi entry Biz - no response.

Hi Prakanong The embassy last week in singapore assured me that they only issue single entry. As you would expect with SIN the english was perfect, leaving no room for misunderstandings.I asked why was this and the answer was basically they didnt want the work! rav
February 11, 200719 yr I got a multi entry non O from Singapore on the 5th Feb so this must be a very recent change.
February 11, 200719 yr Looks like Singapore makes their own rules on everything.Seems like they are the only one also,to just change something when they get tired of it.Talking about it and get rid of it the next morning. But actually they just have to do their job ,no matter of the work.Should be their service, not just get rid of it. just skip Sing,KL seems to be much more reasonable, and still not heard of any changes over there.Must have better nerves then Sing, and do there job just why they are there in the first place.
February 12, 200719 yr I got a non-o multi in KL last week. No financial documents required. Don't forget a copy of your wife's ID card and house registration, in addition to marriage cert (original + copy) 500 RM = 5000 baht (approx)
