August 13, 20187 yr Huge 18 kg durian sold in online auction for 84,000 baht Picture: Thai Rath A single durian growing at an orchard in Phop Phra, Tak in Thailand's north west has been sold for a whopping 84,000 baht in an online auction. The "morn thong" (golden pillow) variety was growing at the Muang Nao orchard and its owner had already turned down an offer of 73,000 baht for the giant with a 92 centimeter circumference. September 5, 20187 yr By publicising this his orchard is top of the scrumping (poaching) list. I wonder if the owner sits up all night guarding it? Maybe a 240volt fence a la fish farm??
