Central Pattana Plc (CPN) announced that the grand opening of Central Phuket will be held ‪on September 10.

Establishing a new shopping district in the heart of Phuket, Central Phuket is developed with an investment of Bt20 billion, with a shopping centre and "tourist attractions”. It also comes with a plan to develop an international-standard convention hall, as well as a world-class hotel, supporting Phuket’s tourism and the government’s policy to develop Phuket as a “super-cluster" city and “smart" city.

Wallaya Chirathivat, deputy CEO of CPN, said: “Central Phuket is ready to open ‪on ‪September 10‬. This project will have a fulfilling shopping experience and launch international events while allowing all types of lifestyles: eat, shop and have fun throughout the day.”

When I first arrived in Phuket in the mid 80's, it was a very nice place with a lot of natural beuty, now it looks more like a "super-cluster f...k up and a not very smart place to be.
