Chon Buri woman gives birth after fright from firecracker explosions

The explosions of firecrackers on Chinese Ghost Festival Day caused a woman in Chon Buri to deliver her fifth child on Saturday.

 

The Siltham Ban Bueng Foundation was alerted at 10am to send help to the rented room of Jatupoj Kaewsim, 27, who said his wife, Naruemol Wangdeeklang, 27, had gone into sudden labour.

 

But when rescuers from the foundation arrived, the woman had already birthed her fifth child, a girl weighing 2.5 kilograms.

 

Rescuers cut the umbilical cord and cleaned the mother and child before sending her to hospital in an ambulancel.

 

The husband said the sounds of firecrackers frightened his wife into giving birth.

The little girl literally came to Earth with a bang!!!

 

Glad both the mother and the baby are doing well. 

the fact she was pregnant probably had more to do with her giving birth than fireworks going off...

Conceived & born with a "bang"

When I was ten I threw a banger near a heavily pregnant woman; (I didn't know where babies came from.)  The husband and father chased and beat me up.  I've avoided pregnant ladies and playing with fire ever since.

From what I've heard the sixth will drop out by itself if you so much as cough.

...and child nr 5 with the weight of just 2,5kg had equal space as for a lonely bicycle on a 8 line highway....
