Is it possible to buy a 2nd entry for Non-Immigrant B Visa?

Hi!

 

I'm in Thailand on a single entry non-immigrant B visa, with enter before date in mid-September.

 

Is it possible to buy another entry at Chiang Mai immigration and use it to do a visa run to Mae Sai before that date?

No it is not possible. You would have to get a new non-b visa at embassy or consulate.

Or you could do a border hop for a 30 day visa exempt entry and apply for non immigrant visa (category B) at immigration if you could qualify for it by meeting the requirements for an extension of stay based upon working or teaching.
