tv123
Hello all, Could someone please let me know if my 800,000 thb needs to be in a thai baht savings account or can the funds be held in a USD account equivalent. Thanks
Tanoshi
As long as you have immediate access to funds, without the need to give notice, the account should be acceptable.
ubonjoe
Most immigration offices will accept the money being in a foreign currency deposit account.

I think you may have misunderstood, the funds still need to be in Thailand in a Thai account but it can be in a foreign currency account, not an account in another country.
