sefty
Please could someone tell me if a health insurance certificate with my rental address (in English) would suffice or go and have a translation done on my Thai drivers license which has the address on the reverse side. Thanks Martin
Jip99
HMPO are not seeking to put barriers up, they have proved to be accommodating in the past i.e. by accepting a copy Thai ID card from a wife/GF stating that the applicant lives with her at said address. I am sure the certificate will suffice. Arguably, if the DL is over 6 months old, it wouldn't .

It would be OK if was up to 1 year old, surely? https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/564956/OS_Guidance_G2_10.16.pdf "All applicants must provide one document showing photo identity and one document as evidence of name and address and/or residency dated within the last year." Yes, my apologies... 12m not 6m........ my point (poorly made) was that a DL is not necessarily an automatic choice as it may not meet the validity date.
