zlodnick
My dogs get Heartguard every month. Heartguard only kills a couple of kinds of intestinal worms, so should I be giving them something in addition to Heartguard?
dallen52
I would think exactly the same as in any other country. Spot on tick and flea relief worth thinking about. Plus other wormers as well as the heart worm. Distemper, parvo shots should be considered imo.

What are the "other wormers" you mentioned? https://www.certapet.com/best-dog-dewormer-guide/ Drontal and excelpet are good all rounders. The above site lists a few. I'm not above giving the kids worm tablets too. (Not the dog ones)

Flea and tick relief? just use powder, couple of shakes on the back a day or so apart, gets to all areas of the dog, gets ingrained into the fur and skin, keep an area where the dogs walk on it,no ticks/fleas for over a year. All round wormer from vet ,its cheap, shots 5 in 1 180 from govt vet
