webfact Posted October 4, 2018 Share Posted October 4, 2018 Fire damages Bangkok apartment room By The Nation Picture: Manager A fire broke out in an apartment room in Bangkok's Bangkok Noi district late on Wednesday night. No one was injured. Police said the fire broke out at 11.45pm at a room on the seventh floor of Thanom Ruedee Apartment on Soi Wang Lang 7, off Aroon Amarin road. Firefighters took about 15 minutes to extinguish the flames, which was confined to the room. Apartment manager Wanchai Jinakarn, 66, said he heard tenants shouting that there was a fire as they ran downstairs. He called police when he saw the fire. Wanchai said the room is rented by a nurse working at the Siriraj Hospital who was not in the room when the fire broke out. Police have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
