wayned
I've never seen one. If you look at the ad that you posted from Tesco, they say that they no longer sell this item

Mickmick
You can get 12v/240v car fridges such as the ARB ones : http://www.arb.co.th/products/arb-fridge-freezers/?lang=en&item=35l-arb-fridge-freezer It won't be cheap but the quality is top notch. ARB have a few stores/dealers around Thailand, think their main Thai one is Pattaya/Chonburi district. The map on their website says they are available in Songkhla (if the info is up to date). Have seen other car fridges available at the BKK Motor Show, did not check if they were dual voltage but they usually are. I doubt you will find anything except the usual bar fridges in a supermarket though.

What is the point of having something on the website which they no longer sell? A bit like the BBC iPlayer advertising programs....NO LONGER AVAILABLE. Dooooooooh. Led Lolly Yellow Lolly
These things use Peltier modules. You can buy them on ebay for next to nothing. I use them to keep outdoor networking cabinets cool in the hot sun. If you're handy with a soldering iron and a couple of heat sinks and fans you can make your own with some polystyrene boxes. Maybe even http://peltiermodules.com/?p=product though that's only for larger orders.
dash
I am a tourist in Thailand and wanted to walk-in somewhere in Hat Yai,buy and use it on Koh Lipe, oneway. Thank you all
Mickmick
Ice is cheap and available everywhere so why not just buy an ordinary, non electrical, coolbox if it is just a one-off use for a holiday.
