Sansern Kaewkamnerd, has dismissed rumours that all elderly citizens will receive an additional living allowance of 100 baht a month. Lt. Gen. Sansern said on Tuesday that the elderly who would like to receive their monthly allowances must report to their subdistrict administrative organizations or district offices before the end of this month. He said those who have already registered do not need to report to the authorities. He said the elderly can check whether they have received their allowances by updating their registered bank accounts or contacting their municipalities, subdistrict administrative organizations, or district offices. -- nnt 2018-10-
