Tom89
When applying for a Nom-Imm O or extension for retirement, does my proof of having 800K in the bank have to come from the branch where I opened my acct? A few years ago, I opened an acct at BKK Bank at the Sukhumvit branch with a 30 day landing stamp. I'm now ready to make the move to Thailand. However, I want to live in Phayao not the BKK area. Just to expedite matters if I send money to my existing account in BKK, can I get proof from the branch in Phayao? Will immigration accept it? I will eventually open an account in Phayao. Thanks in advance.
ubonjoe
You can get the letter from any branch of your bank. Immigration does not care where your account is at.

Ned
I picked up a letter yesterday and once I got home I noticed that nowhere is my passport number written......only my name, bank account number and amount. Is this acceptable to imm? Thanks
