Got mine sworn today, the dude at the Window told me that they are aware of what the Brits have said. He told me that the issue of whether or not we would continue to be able to get them is being discussed at the "high levels" and he told me that the issue is verification of income.  Altho he didnt say it outright, he made it seem to me that this is a problem that the Thais are causing. He also told me that all the Western Embassies are involved in these discussions of what to do.

 

Very efficient there by the way. Walked in at 13:30 for a 13:45 apt, walked out at 14:15. What a motley bunch of Americans we are tho.....

I dont think your embassy personal know what they are talking about.. My embassy (swedish) have absolutely no intentions of jumping on this hysterical "train" that the brits started...

2. Have you talked to your Embassy? Especially the higher ups?

3. Seesm that at least as the US is concerned, someone is discussing it.

the best was like this 80 year old dude in a wheelchair who clearly was in ill health. This kinda cute older Thai lady (50s) was pushing him in his chair, mopping his brow and just fluttering over him. He was there to sign some affidavit about them getting married. Good for him! I hope that when Im in a chair I can get some sweet lady to wipe my a*s in exchange for my Soc Sec when I finally bite the big one.

2. Yes we have officially been informed by the embassys vice-ambassador about this.

3. Yes some is, but do NOT talk about the whole world when it only concerns 2 countries you and the brits.... noone else..... The world is big you know....

All right thats fine, you clearly are privy to what is being discussed among the higher ups in western countries. Perhaps you would like to start a thread entitled "Swedes have nothing to worry about regarding Income Affidavts" and give your countryman the info you have. Thanks!

My countrymen knows of course about this, it is officially published like I mention, among other places on facebook...
