Diving At, Or Near By, Koh Chang.

Featured Replies

I have been to Koh Chang a few times over the last few years and enjoyed it each time. I did a PADI diving course there last year. I am now looking to do some more diving. On this point I have a couple of questions. Firstly, is this a good time of year to dive? Secondly, is Koh Mak Island, near Koh Chang, a good spot to dive? I am near Rayong and Koh Chang is within driving distance, but if anyone can recommend another good place that would be great.

Thanks.

Rich,

The diving round Koh Chang is pretty good - certainly not the best in Thailand but better than not getting wet. The best diving that i have experienced in Thailand is at the Similan Islands of the coast of Phang Nga which is a bit of a trek from Rayong unless you fly.
