webfact
Chiang Mai glue sniffer beats up Chinese tourists By The Thaiger Sanook is reporting on what they described as yet another “devastating blow to Thai tourism”. In the latest case, the alleged glue-sniffing son of a downtown tailor went after two Chinese tourists with a wooden club as they innocently took photos in a tourist area. The attack occurred in the Wua Lai Road area where there is a ‘walking street’ style night market popular with tourists. bluesofa
Surely this story was originally reported three or four days ago? Is it a rehash of that, or have I missed something obvious?

RichardColeman
..............the Chinese tourists were later taken on board a Thai bus with no brake pedal, to a beach with no life guards, to a boat with no safety and insurance record and promtly drowned. They had a pretty comprehensive holiday then. Looks like compensation claims all round. "and promptly drowned" - efficiency too.

As always with 'upgades/improvements' it'll take a few months to get all the 'bugs' sorted out. IMHO, why 'fix' something that ain't broken?
