6 Month Multiple Entry Tourist Visa Expiry

Featured Replies

I have a 6 month multiple tourist visa that totally expires at the end of March.

I am not looking for a 30 day extension because it is of no use to me as I would like to go back to Myanmar for a couple of weeks, re-enter Chiang Mai for about 30 days then go back to the UK.

It is possible to get the 30 day visa exemption stamp on my return? I have a UK passport.

Thanks

Tourist visas are issued in one, two, three or four entry. The two/three/four entry are valid for six months from date of issue. So I must assume you have used up your alloted entries and are asking if you can obtain a 30 day visa exempt entry and if you have been here on visa entry all this time you should be able to use a visa free entry for your return.

Another option, if it is your current permitted to stay that ends at the end of March would be to obtain a re-entry permit at 1,000 baht which would keep that date alive and return before that date to continue your tourist visa stay (and 30 day extension if required).

Yes, I have a 4 entry tourist visa and have used all of the entries up. My last entry expires on the 30th March.

I didn't know there was such a thing as a re-entry permit before. I might have travelled a bit more if I had!

Thanks for your help I'll look into these options.
