snoop1130 Posted October 29, 2018 Share Posted October 29, 2018 Cameroonian man caught on 998 day overstay in south Thailand Satun tourist and immigration police paid a visit to a house in the southern Thai city after reports of suspicious behavior. Sanook reported that a "dark skinned" man was staying at the property with an English teacher friend and lots of black people were visiting. The door was closed during the day but ajar at night. The authorities descended on the house - number 2/7 in Phimai sub-district of Muang district - where they arrested Mr Theophile, 30. The Cameroonian had a legal passport but it had expired in 2017. He was found to be on 998 days of over stay. He was detained and will be deported and blacklisted for ten years, according to the regulations.
