Russia has made a huge screw up invading Ukraine and is trying to lash out at anyone and everyone in an attempt to seem hard and powerful. Thing is, Russia has signed it's own demise by being such a completely nasty BS authoritarian country.... it will be bled dry like the Soviet Union was, with Putler making the same mistakes that Brezhnev made with his failed policies on the same idea. -

Thai - Cambodia Conflict Martial Law Declared in Parts of Chanthaburi and Trat as Border Tensions Escalate

In a dramatic development amid escalating cross-border hostilities, the Border Defence Command for Chanthaburi and Trat provinces has officially declared martial law in select districts of the two eastern provinces. The announcement, made on the evening of 25 July, follows increased military aggression by Cambodian forces along the Thai-Cambodian border. According to the declaration, the move is deemed necessary due to continued attacks by Cambodian military units using armed force along the border. The order, issued by Vice Admiral Apichart Supprasert, Commander of the Border Defence Command, invokes powers granted under Article 176, paragraph two of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, and Article 4 of the Martial Law Act B.E. 2457 (1914). The areas now under martial law include: In Chanthaburi Province: • Mueang Chanthaburi District • Tha Mai District • Makham District • Laem Sing District • Kaeng Hang Maeo District • Na Yai Am District • Khao Khitchakut District In Trat Province: • Khao Saming District Effective immediately, the declaration grants military authorities sweeping powers over civil affairs, including the ability to conduct searches, detain individuals without a court warrant and impose curfews if deemed necessary for national security. The announcement references the continued use of force by Cambodia as a direct threat to Thai sovereignty, necessitating unified national defence efforts involving the military, police, civilian authorities, and citizens alike. Better that than pretending a nuclear power attacked a US warship on the sly to provoke a nuclear war. If Russian intelligence is reliable and this is what the UK and Ukraine were planning that's criminal. -

Shouldn't happen of course, but humans make mistakes. There's a system called ASMGCS that can give audible and visual warnings in this type of situation. This is a common system around the world. Maybe a fairly major international airport like this should have this.
