Robert De Niro and his wife Grace Hightower have split up after more than 20 years of marriage, according to US media reports.

 

The pair have been living separately for some time, The Hollywood Reporter, celebrity website TMZ and People magazine all said, quoting anonymous sources.

 

The star of films including The Godfather Part II, Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Cape Fear, Casino and Goodfellas and winner of two Oscars, De Niro has been careful to keep his family and private life out of the spotlight.

 

"Sometimes things don't work out the way you hope or want them to," a source said to be close to the family was quoted as saying in People.

Since this ingrate started his F Trump rant he has lost a lot of respect, now it seems even his long term partner is tired of it as well.  but when you're worth over 200,000,000 $$ you don't give a shi'it what others think about you.  He too will jst 'fade away' soon, 76 yo and not in the best of health.............

Given his profanity laced public rants, I'm assuming that family life with him was just a charm.

It's nice to see that rich and famous guys can be as thoroughly divorce raped as the rest of us.
