Dog Import Permit

Featured Replies

Hello All,

We're arriving with our dog on Friday from the UK.  However, we're struggling to get a response from [email protected].  I've emailed them 4 times with all the paperwork to request the import permit and also attempted to call to chase several times, but haven't been able to get through.  We've imported a dog before and the permit was issued very promptly.  He's not a banned breed and has all the correct vaccinations, microchip etc, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

I've read mixed information about whether or not we can obtain the permit once we land.  He'll be on the same flight as us travelling as accompanied baggage (not via the cargo terminal).  I'll continue to chase them until we fly on Thursday night, however, it would be great if someone in the know could confirm whether or not it's possible to arrange this permit at the airport.

Many thanks...

Thanks Arjen - hopefully we'll get the permit before we travel, but if not it's good to know you've also heard it's possible to get the permit on landing.

I will indeed keep you updated, in case anyone faces a similar challenge in the future...

Thanks again.
