Santa was picked up on CCTV footage...sort of (Image: Barrett Homes)

 

An eye-catching visitor paid a special trip to one of Plymouth's newest streets - and was caught in the act on CCTV.

 

The bearded man in a suit presumed to be red, was captured on footage taken in a Plympton garden.

 

But this 'Santa Claus' was not bringing any early Christmas presents.

 

He appeared to be taking notes about the properties in Redwood Heights.
