Big Joke shuts down fake Korean doctor's herbal cancer clinic

 

 

Police tech and tourist teams under the name of immigration chief Lt-Gen Surachate Hakparn have announced the arrest of a 49 year old South Korean national.

 

Hansung Lee was running an illegal clinic offering Chinese medical treatments for serious diseases like cancer, sight and hearing loss. 

 

He would charge 10,000 baht a time for treatments that mainly consisted of herbal poultices. He also sold herbal remedies for 500 baht a time, reported INN Network. 

 

He called himself a doctor but was just a quack.

 

He has been charged with running a medical service business without a license and illegally dispensing medicines.

In this case, "Korean" is an adjective referring to the nationality of the doctor, not a noun as in "he's a Korean (person)", so the grammar is perfectly correct.

Does it mean a man eating a lion, or a lion which ( or is it 'that') eats men?

You omit the hyphen: a man-eating lion would be a lion that eats men; therefore 'man-eating' is an adjective.

While at it, 'Big joke' could pay some attention to some organisation created by, not even a quack-doctor, just a confirmed Farang con-artist, making big money producing and selling mushroom-based 'cancer treatments', with participation and protection of Thai 'hi-so's', for quite some years now...

Giving cancer patients false hope while robbing the little money they have left is about the most vile crime I can think of.

And the bastard I 'think about' lives a wealthy 'rockstar life', admired and respected by many for his 'achievements', here and abroad!
