Kate Winslet and Saorise Ronan set to play lesbian lovers in romance drama Ammonite

Saoirse and Kate: Saoirse Ronan and Kate Winslet (seen at the Moet British Independent Film Awards in 2015) are attached to star as lesbian lovers in Ammonite

 

Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan have never worked together before, but they're about to get very close in their new movie Ammonite.

 

Both actresses have been attached to star in the period romance drama that has now become one of the hottest projects in development coming out of the U.K., according to Deadline.

 

While this will mark their first collaboration on the big screen, they were spotted together at the Moet British Independent Film Awards in 2015, where Ronan won for Brooklyn and Winslet won the Variety Award.

 

The story is set in a UK coastal town in the 1840s, following the unlikely romance between palaeontologist Mary Anning and, 'a London woman of means to whom she must unexpectedly play nursemaid.'

With that look and age being lesbian is probably the best option for those two. But why would the make a film about that? Who would want to see that?

KW was always too chubby to interest me, now she's too old as well.

If I was the meat in the sandwich I would not be complaining.
