Withdrawing money from UK Paypal

Featured Replies

Hi, I hope somebody can help with this.

I have some money in my UK Paypal account and I want to withdraw it to my KrungSri account.

However, when adding a new account to my Paypal, it asks for sort code and account number (i.e. wrong format for Thai banks).

Paypal customer service is useless. Has anybody been able to do this?

I know I can withdraw money to my UK bank and then transfer to my Thai bank, but that adds extra fees.

You can not. For this reason I have 2 Paypal accounts, one in Thailand and in in Europe.

I hope to be corrected on this BTW.

Highly unlikely, I can't  connect a Thai bank to my Aussie PayPal, had open a second Thai paypal account to ad Thai bank account. This would be them stopping people using them as a currency transfer. If you have currency transfer like ozforex or world first you would understand why.

This is correct UK account you can only withdraw to UK bank, so need to setup a thai one and hten send the money to thai and then sent to bank

Withdraw to UK bank and use fee free method to withdraw in Thailand.
