I have a small niece 3 y.o. and her behavior has caught my attention...she doesn't respond to the usual adult stimulation and remains quiet and disengaged...

 

I have been with other children with my wife's family and they are happy and healthy, grandchildren, and various other toddlers...my son in the UK was assessed ASD in the UK when he was 5 y.o. but he is a young adult now and high functioning, he manages to look after himself...

 

as I live in the provinces are there facilities for an assessment? I need to have the niece's parents become aware so that they can handle things properly...they wouldn't have a clue otherwise as they are simple country folks...

Where do you live.  In Bangkok there are too many places for assessement.

I'm in Suphanburi...I can take the little girl to BKK if need be to see a child autism specialist...
