pistachios
Hi, I currently have a non-O multiple entry based on marriage, valid until august. I found a job with a BOI-approved company that is using an agency for work permit applications. While examining my files they suggested that I should either get a one year extension (which I can't get) or go get a non-B abroad (waste of time and money). I am wrong by thinking it makes no sense at all to ditch my actual visa, valid for 7 more months, to get a 3 months single entry business visa, and that the one year extension based on employment can be done regardless of the kind of visa I got (non-O/non-B and single/multiple visa)? Is the BOI status of the company changes anything to the standard business visa/work permit process?
FritsSikkink
It did for me 3 years ago in BKK, had a multi entry marriage but had to get a non B.
pistachios
Good to know. I wonder if it is another illogical rule of if the agency is lazy to work with something slightly unfamiliar.
