rooster59
Temperatures drop to 8C on Phu Rua By The Nation A lot of tourists enjoyed the morning mist at the top of Loei's Phu Rua mountain on Saturday when temperatures dropped to 8 degrees Celsius. Officials said a new round of high pressure mass from China prompted the temperature in Loei to fall to 8-10C in most mountainous areas, while the low-lyings areas saw the temperature measured at 15C to 17C. The temperature at the Phu Kradueng National Park was measured at 9.5C, Phu Suan Sai National Park at 10C and Phu Luang Wildlife Sanctuary at 9C. Apart from the morning mist, tourists were also treated to pink blossoms of the Wild Himalayan Cherry trees, which are called Thai Sakura in the Phu Rua National Park.
