drbrit
Hi, I will be renting out a property in the Sattahip district, for 3 months. I understand I will been in inform immigration or the tessaban of the rental as the occupants are foreign nationals. Can anyone clarify the process here and can it be done at the tessaban office? ubonjoe
You only need to report the arrival of foreigners at the residence to immigration using a TM30 form.
jacko45k
I went there myself to do same with copies of the foreigner's main passport page, his entry stamp and TM 6 card (signed). They also wanted my passport details including same and my extension. Proof of address in the form of telephone bill was retained, I was asked for house book but she just nodded when I said I had original with me. I had a sense they might ask for the kitchen sink had it not been getting late in the day and they were busy. I had been there some time already. PoorSucker
If you want to be totally legal, you need to contact the revenue office for a tax number so you can pay tax on your rental income.
