Just when you thought leftist media couldn't be trusted enough News

Featured Replies

Just when you thought the leftist media couldn't be trusted enough, then this, they soft pedal the Atlanta "Cop City" violence while framing participants as mere forest defenders. Fox News detailed how at least 35 agitators, many out of state and some from France and Canada, were detained after a coordinated black clad attack on the construction site involving Molotov cocktails, fireworks, rocks, and arson.

The Atlanta First News report covers activist Samuel Tunick, a Stop Cop City participant who was placed on a terrorism watchlist due to his association with the broader movement authorities described as including militant anarchists promoting anti police ideals and direct action.

"Samuel Tunick was stopped by CBP agents on Jan. 24, 2025, upon returning from the Dominican Republic".

"This wasn’t about a public safety training center. This was about anarchy, and this was about an attempt to destabilize. . This was a very violent attack that occurred this evening."

If it's not new its not news.......dredging up stuff from four years ago smacks of desperation or stupidity or a combination of the two.

The individuals indicted for the violent attack on the Atlanta Police and Fire Training Center contractor were U.S. citizens from Colorado, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. No foreign nationals were named in the federal or state charges.

The case above is about this guy, a US citizen, wiping his phone

The media are supported with significant money to say what their backers want them to so. Maybe not directly but indirectly the news says what it is told to say.

I think that what a lot of people (and the MSM) miss is that La Migra has always had draconian powers at the border, which (by law) extends 100 miles into the interior. There have always been horror stories about people getting their cash confiscated under civil forfeiture, being pulled over for warrantless searches, detained without probable cause, and forced to open their laptops and smartphones. Especially since 9/11.

That was all fine under Bush, Obama, and Biden. Just like Obama's deporting of 3 million was ginger peachy keen. But when it's Trump, the syndrome kicks in. Bigly.

BTW, I use the generic "La Migra" because the National Security org chart has changed several times, mostly as a result of 9/11 and it wasn't always ICE and CBP in their current forms. I always refer to Cheech's "Born in East LA" to show that it's been going on for decades.

It’s a sorry state of the state (another just when you thought the media couldn't be trusted enough moment)when people who are on a terrorist watchlist can wipe out a phone’s data when asked to unlock it at the border, then walk free on bond destroying the very evidence they were trying to seize.

"An Atlanta activist faces federal charges after giving border agents a duress passcode that deleted all of the data from his phone during an airport interrogation in 2025".

Im a die hard bill of rights type person , but when people cross the line and participate in protests against cops, especially when the movement is violent in nature , thats when it stops with the Anarchy Stop the Cops Marxist movement.

What the case means for your privacy

"The case could decide how much digital data security — and which constitutional rights — you legally have at the US border".

Just when you thought the leftist media couldn't be trusted enough, they largely sit on a story of a foreign national who allegedly strangled his 19 year old girlfriend and immediately tried to flee the USA.

"Varun Batchigari is suspected of first-degree murder in the strangulation of 19-year-old college student Julissa Rubi Salazar inside her apartment near the University of Arizona in Tucson on Thursday".

"He also had a history of domestic violence and had an open criminal case against him for assault – knowingly causing injury filed in Pima County Court on May 26, according to records viewed by The Post".

Another heinous case of a accused foreign national being in the USA, committing crimes while Pima county, Arizona officials look the other way and not report him.

A video from a bias news source on 50k ICE arrests. Time stamp : 1:10

A few facts very often left out of media reporting ,why these specific individuals were targeted for removal.

Under ICE, routine sweeps and detainments are targeted individuals who trigger specific administrative or legal red flags, including,

Prior criminal histories in their home country or elsewhere.

Material misrepresentations or visa fraud on entry/asylum documentation.

Previous deportations, unlawful re entries, or prior civil/criminal immigration violations.

Intel based watchlist hits or active gang affiliations.

When evaluating these monthly arrest figures it seems all the facts are purposely left out.

ICE makes 50,000 arrests in July
