Japanese author and ‘organizing consultant’ Marie Kondo in a promotional image for her series ‘Tidying Up With Marie Kondo.’

So you’ve applied the KonMari method to your home: tossed stuff the non-joy sparking stuff into bag upon bag. Congrats on the decluttering, but now what do with all that stuff that without dumping it on the sidewalk or in those wonderful trash cages.

Here’s how to donate, recycle, sell and even swap all those unwanted clothes, books, e-waste, household items and cosmetics in Bangkok, with some ideas for helping others at the same time.

This is a great article.  The only thing I wish they did was to have drop boxes for computers and toner cartridges at the computer locations.  ZEER MALL in Rangsit  Pantip should also have one.

where ever you can buy a large amount od computer crap should have a drop off for recycling.

One question though or those that use laser printers where or what do you do with the cartridges

Would like to see some places in Isaan that accept used goods. Have a lot of stuff to get rid of. Been carrying it around for too many years. Realize never going to use them again. Most brought with us from the states.

Does anyone know where to donate old medicine and pharmaceuticals? Do they take them back at drugstores?

Put the stuff outside your gate, will be gone the next day.

Missing the single most import item - plastics. I try to reuse my plastic bags, but it is not easy. I would happily collect and recycle the infinite plastic bags. Have huge bags full of them. No clue where to send them.

Just put it in the garbage and the trash collectors will find it and recycle for you

Don't forget, the next time shopping you have to ask for an extra large plastic bag to put all your plastic bags in.
