Are the fools in charge mentally retarded ?

He has refugee status in Australia. He should be released immediately and allowed to go back to his home in Melbourne

OK

But why did this mentally retarded football player decided to leave Australia knowing Bahrain wanted him arrested.

Those "refugees" flaunting their status by leaving the country that took them in or going on holiday in the country they escaped, deserve to be sent to the country they escaped.

That said, the guy hobbling around in leg irons is far over the top.

Red Bull comes to mind.........

If Uncle Tuu had any balls he would just fire a round of art.44 at this, and override all the bs. and ship him back to OZ, i'm pretty sure the Thais would admire him for that (or at least i think they would)

Maybe the Australian police let us know where Red Bull is.

Send him to the UK, at least they have a soccer team or 2 that pay okay wages for a guy of his obvious quality. And Winters are warmer as well.

Geezer

Yeah, can't see the benefit or even the reason for a 3rd country to be involved.   Am I missing something?  Has Australia backtracked or rescinded the asylum/refuge/PR guarantee?   I would assume the Interpol office in Aus that issued the "red card", is controlled/commanded by international head office for instructions, not by Aus police/immigration authorities....

Maybe someone who is familiar with the process can post...  Obviously Thai authorities are not (re: Red Bull heir extradition shenanigans) familiar with the process.
