Two killed, two severely injured in car-pickup collision in Buri Ram

By The Nation

Two people were killed and two others severely injured when a car and a pickup truck collided head-on on a curved road in Buri Ram’s Mueang district early Tuesday.

Pol Captain Prachak Khamnak from Mueang Buri Ram police station said the accident had occurred at the curve of a main road in Ban Sai Yong in Tambon Krasang at 4.30am.

Two passengers, one from each of the vehicles, died at the scene, while both drivers were rushed to Buri Ram Hospital after suffering severe injuries.

The car driver was identified as Pol Senior Sgt-Major Niranwa Thanapatruangphaisarn, and the pickup driver as Prawit Bamrungchue.

Prawit’s passenger was named as Somparn Bamrung, and Niranwa’s as Thiparat Srichanyaem.

Police said the two vehicles had collided at the curve apparently at high speed.

This racing will save you a few minutes, but you might have to pay with your life. Many here seem to think it's worth while.

Oh no! not brake failure again.....

Nah

Just normal brain failure.

TIT.

Only a small bit of the same "KILL" count on Thai "Highways". I don't mind terribly that these folks get themselves killed, I just don't want them to take me with them.
